:: :: fun with color :: ::

ok. i have a fun little game for us today. it's called fun with color. basically, here are 9 color palettes i'm considering using for my next stationery collection(s). i have included them here.



your job is to help me name them, yeah? (while you're at it, i'd love to know your favorite color group, too!)

I like color palette 1 the best. my second choice would be color palette 8.

Wow - they are all very beautiful and would make great stationery collections! When it comes to naming I always like to use food as a theme, or you could pick some group such as flowers, animals or Greek gods! It's nice to have that unity in naming... For example, I am partial to green so I like color palette 6 - and I would totally name is asparagus or turtle. Maybe that's too literal? :P

linda: no, that's not too literal. for the green one i'd been thinking something like "mojito" or something.

I too am partial to greens so I love 6 and 5 the best. I love the purples in 8.

maybe get some inspiration from the names you see on paint chips!

thanks, all. i don't need names for them for any reason. i just thought it would be fun to come up with names for them. trying to encourage a little audience participation. : )

My fav is #3--what about "lotus" for a name? I like #5 for a cheery, whimsical Christmas theme.

4) Morning Hush
5) Mexican Hat Dance
6) Moss Flower
7) Raspberry Julep
8) Striped Toe Socks
9) Spring Blueberry
