so, friends. what do you think? good ad? would you click? it's headed to a blog directed at knitters, sewers, crafters, etc. you know, sort of the diy set. i can't decide how i feel about the cutting-and-scissors line. thoughts?
I agree with Adele about the white line. I might also try a sans serif font for the tagline- it's a little difficult to read and I'm just thinking if it's in a row/column of a bunch of ads, you don't want people to gloss over it because they can't read it. I love the color combination and layout though!!

After reading the above comments I'm wondering what it would look like with the cutting line and font colors reversed... so the cutting line is white and the text is all in blue. I like it but agree that if it's in a string of ads, the font needs to be more eye-catching or it might get glossed over. Great work, though!! It would make a pretty business card, too, if you did two-sided ones. :)

I think it looks great.
The only thing I might try is switching the cutting/scissors line to white so it's more pronounced.
But, I like it regardless.

I personally LOVE the cutting line :)
I really like it. It would definitely make me click. Just a tad hard to read the text on my screen though. Love the colors and design.
actually, i really like it as it is -- i think if the cutting line was more pronounced it would compete too much with the other things on the page.
i think you nailed it!
i like it as is too. a lot!
